What we collect
We don't collect personal information directly. BoredomBash has no account system, no registration wall, and no forms that ask for your name, email, or any identifying information (except the voluntary submission email described below).
Theme preference. If you toggle the dark/light theme, that preference is saved in your browser's localStorage. It never leaves your device and we never access it server-side.
Submission emails. If you email a site submission to [email protected], your email address and message are retained for editorial purposes and deleted after review. We don't add you to any list.
Google AdSense
BoredomBash displays advertising through Google AdSense. Google AdSense uses cookies and tracking technologies to serve ads based on your browsing history and interests. Google's data collection practices are governed by Google's Privacy Policy and Google's advertising policies.
You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ad Settings or by using the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out.
Google Analytics / Measurement
BoredomBash uses Google Analytics or equivalent analytics tooling to measure aggregate traffic patterns (page views, session duration, referral sources). This data is anonymized and used only to understand which content is useful. We don't sell analytics data to third parties.
Cookies
BoredomBash itself sets one cookie-adjacent storage item: your theme preference in localStorage. Third-party cookies (Google AdSense, analytics) may be set by the services above. See our Cookie Policy for specifics.
Third-party links
BoredomBash is a directory of links to third-party websites. When you click a destination link you leave BoredomBash and the destination site's own privacy policy applies. We have no control over, and no responsibility for, data collected by destination sites.
Your rights
Since we don't collect personal data directly, GDPR/CCPA data access or deletion requests generally don't apply to data we hold — we don't hold any. For data held by Google (AdSense, Analytics), use Google's own data controls. If you submitted an email and want it deleted, contact [email protected].
Changes to this policy
We'll update the "Last updated" date when this policy changes substantially. Continued use of BoredomBash after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
